Teen Sexual Health Conference
Med Mind, alongside organizations like Aid4Need and Evosol Pediatrics, had the privilege of attending and speaking at the Teen Sexual Health Awareness conference, hosted by Neura Hope and Medicalnthusiasts. Representing Med Mind, Tarleen (Founder & President) and Shreeya (Head of Writing) spoke on the current trends in teen sexual health and the research gaps when gathering data on these trends.

Neuroscience Course
Med Mind recently participated in the Teen Animals and Scientists Neuroscience Course, hosted by Teen Animals Da Scientists, where we tackled some of the most common myths surrounding neuroscience. With a focus on education and clarity, Tarleen (Founder & President) and Shreeya (Head of Writing) represented us by thoroughly debunking eight pervasive neuroscience myths. They provided detailed explanations, helping attendees understand the science behind why these misconceptions exist and how they can be corrected.

Ink & Insight (Mental Health Writing Competiton)
Med Mind is partnered with PEA Organization (non-profit) to host an international mental health writing competition! Participants could choose from various categories, including creative writing, general research papers on diseases, theoretical medical solution proposals, or biographies of individuals who have made significant contributions to disease research.

Exploring Human Genetics Seminar
At the Wave Learning Festival, Med Mind proudly hosted a four-day-long seminar titled "Exploring Human Genetics." During this event, Tarleen (Founder & President), Shreeya (Head of Writing), and Suprita (Head of Outreach) provided an engaging exploration into key areas of human genetics. Our session covered foundational topics including the basics of human genetics, genetic variation and its link to diseases, recent advancements in molecular genetics and technologies, and the promising field of regenerative medicine. Participants had the opportunity to dive deep into these subjects, learning about the latest research and potential career paths in genetics.
